Will the dumpster fit in my driveway?
Yes. Our 12-yard and 16-yard dumpster will fit in most driveways. It takes up the space equivalent to a single car or large truck.
Do I need to be home when you deliver the dumpster?
Nope. But be sure you clearly inform your operator where you'd like your dumpster rental placed. Our Dumpster Consultants are trained to always ask where you'd like the container placed on your driveway, which allows you to be elsewhere when it's delivered to your home.
Do I need a permit when I rent a dumpster?
If you want to put the dumpster on your yard or driveway, you won't need a permit. However, if you want the operator to leave it on the sidewalk, street, or a public alley, you will need to apply for a permit with your city's Public Works Department.

How much notice does a dumpster company need to pick up my dumpster?
The average stay of a dumpster in a residential driveway is just over three days. It is reasonable to expect that you may need to give 24-hour notice for the pickup, but it is also reasonable to expect that in some cases your local operator may be able to come quickly if they are not too busy.
After 7 days, you can expect our operators to come to pick up the dumpster unless instructed otherwise by you.
